Draw your beds. Drop in your plants. See it grow.

The HobbyPlot designer works in real centimetres. Sketch rectangular or round beds, drag plants from the palette, and each one takes up exactly the space it needs. No more overcrowded rows or guessing how many seedlings fit.

  • Beds to scale, with sun exposure, irrigation zone and garden zones
  • Same plants group automatically into labelled blocks you can move and resize
  • Structures: paths, trellises, compost bins, water barrels and sprinklers
  • Export any garden plan to PDF for the shed wall

Companion planting, built in

Bad neighbours turn red

Every plant knows its friends and foes. Put fennel next to your tomatoes and both light up in red, with the reason on hover. Click 🤝 on any block to see which companions would help it — marigolds against aphids, basil for flavour, onions to confuse carrot fly.

The blue circle is a sprinkler's watering coverage. Set its radius and you can see at a glance which beds it actually reaches.

Care for every block

One click from plan to care

Click a block's caption to open its care card: change the number of plants or the spacing and the block re-lays itself; note the watering routine, drip timing and mulch; and log supplements and treatments — applied now or scheduled for later, which also creates a reminder.

  • Care notes stay with the block all season
  • Scheduled treatments land in your reminders
  • Write a journal entry for the block straight from the designer

Seed-starting racks and trays

Mark a bed as an indoor rack and it becomes a set of seed trays. Each tray tracks how many cells you sowed, when, and when germination is due. Log watering and grow-light hours with one tap; the history goes into your journal.

  • Germination countdown per tray
  • Last watering and total grow-light hours at a glance
  • Full per-tray history
